Privacy Statement (AVG / GDPR)

This Privacy Statement applies to all services and interactions processed by:

2. Data We Collect & Purpose

AJ Digital Labs processes personal data only when strictly necessary to conduct enterprise B2B consulting, fulfill contracts, or respond to inbound requests. We collect:

  • Inquiry Data: Name, business email address, company name, and project scope submitted through our contact channels.
  • Contractual Data: Corporate address, billing information, and tax identifiers required to fulfill B2B consulting agreements and comply with the Dutch State Taxes Act (Algemene wet inzake rijksbelastingen).
  • Technical Logs: Minimal server logs (IP address, user-agent) strictly for network security and DDoS mitigation.

3. Cookies & Tracking

Our website is engineered with a privacy-first posture. We do not use tracking cookies, cross-site profiling tags, or invasive third-party ad networks. Server metrics collected via Azure edge logs are anonymized and require no user consent banner under the Dutch Telecommunications Act (Telecommunicatiewet).

4. Data Retention Periods

We retain personal information no longer than necessary to fulfill the intended purposes:

  • Inquiry and communication records: Retained for up to 12 months after our last active engagement.
  • Financial, transactional, and invoicing records: Retained for 7 years in strict accordance with the mandatory statutory Dutch tax retention obligation (fiscale bewaarplicht).

5. Your Legal Rights (AVG Articles 15–22)

Under the GDPR / AVG, you have the right to inspect, correct, transfer, or delete your personal data. You may also object to the processing of your information. To exercise any of these statutory rights, submit your request to contact@ajdigitallabs.nl. You also retain the right to submit a complaint directly to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
